Goodreads asked Christopher Sendrowski:

How do you get inspired to write?

Christopher Sendrowski I was originally a budding film maker who studied film and video editing at the School of Visual Arts, so storytelling was always in my veins. But I think the real turning point was after I read Frank Herbert's Dune. It was then that I realized I would never be able to create the kind of worlds I really wanted to on film - at least, not without millions of dollars and hollywood connections, neither of which I had. Frank Herbert's work showed me the possibilities that were out there, the worlds waiting to be created and discovered. And I had but to tap a keyboard to bring my own to life, so it was an easy decision from there.
