Goodreads asked Amit Bobrov:

How do you get inspired to write?

Amit Bobrov I guess for each writer it's different. For me growing up in a hell most people call the Middle-East, I've seen needless violence and an abundance of vain wars. I wanted to say something, voice something different. Not condemn one side or the other, because we're all human here. But to say something about what drives a man to kill. How it all seems right, but in the end, perhaps not so much. That's why I named the hero Adam. It means Man in Hebrew, and it's basically the story of man, facing an inevitable death like we all do. Struggling with the hardships of everyday life we all feel.
