How do you deal with writer’s block?

Aidan J. Reid I don't believe in writer's block. Writing is a profession like any other. Builder's don't get Builder's Block. Nor do footballer's suddenly forget the ability to play football (unless you're Eden Hazard of Chelsea FC). Any time I sit down in front of the laptop, I write through any barriers. It may not be the best quality but at least it get's me out of my head, and producing something. More often than not, I'll trash what I've written but there's usually a seed of an idea in there that I will work on in future edits.
