Nature is my muse. I sit at a table on my porch which faces a woodlot alive with Crows, Woodpeckers, Squirrels, and even an occasional bald eagle. I take notebooks with me when hiking and bird watching. I also read the best of the best writers. I just reread Walden by Henry David Thoreau and I am rereading the travel journals of Matsuo Basho (1644 to 1694).

Thanks very much for the literary updates on your reading. I save your chapbooks with my literature shelf and am working on a third book on dynastic and regal houses. The cover is designed but this one will required some light research which I know how to do; the outline is complete, royal blue rather than divine saffron or imperial purple cover. I love your parks, once camping but could I ever be an outdoorsman?
