Chasity asked Heather Lyons:

I really enjoy "The Collector's Society" and can't wait for the 4th book. I've always loved literary classics and I think you've made a impressive new blend! I was wondering how you came about choosing the different characters and timelines for the books. You've chosen a wonderful variety of well and some lesser-known characters that I think makes the series so successful. How did you decide on who made the cut?

Heather Lyons Thank you for your kind words! Some of the books I chose because I love them, and they've had great meaning for me. For instance, both The Secret Garden and A Little Princess were both beloved when I was younger, and I always wondered what Mary and Sara would be like if they were to interact. I chose some books and Timelines because they've fit the needs of my plot lines. And then, I've chosen some because I loved the idea of people learning more about these classics. One of the greatest compliments I've had from readers of the Collectors' Society series has been that it's brought a number of people back to the classics so they can discover for themselves these rich, wonderful stories.
