The Missy DuBois Mystery series takes place in the beautiful Southern antebellum mansions that line the Great River Road in Louisiana. My last visit brought me to a particular mansion that filmmakers picked for an episode of "Ghost Hunters." They wanted to prove that soldiers' spirits still wander the banks of the Mississippi. The first story flowed from that.
