Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Phil Hore I have always been a fan of The Big Sleep (Bogart), the Jack the Ripper murders and Sherlock Holmes. When I suddenly saw a thread where I could link all three in a story line, I had to have a go and get it on paper. Added to that the chance to add a lot of real events to my historical murder mystery, well I was off and running.
