Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Tanya Bullock The seed for 'Homecoming' was first planted in my mind during a long conversation with my maternal grandfather about ten years ago. He was in the French Resistance and then one of the first Commissioners of the European Coal and Steel Community after World War II. He was a great man with some incredible stories to tell and my story is somehow linked to his. I won't say how exactly as I don't want to give too much away, but 'Homecoming' is in part a tribute to him.
