How do you get inspired to write?

G.A. Minton Weirdly enough, it was only after I was rear-ended by a drunk driver and suffered a closed-head injury that I developed a passion for writing (a true story, even though it sounds like a fictitious plot for a Stephen King horror novel). One might surmise that the damaged neurons in my frontal cortex had reconfigured themselves into a different arrangement, thus giving rise to my newfound creativity. Who knows? Stranger things have happened!
