Stefania asked K.C. Finn:

Hi! I'm an Italian girl who discovered Legion lost thanks to Kindlescout. I've just finished it and... i love it! Raja is a wonderful heroine, and my favourite character is Stirling *--* May I ask you what do you find "difficult" to write a good dystopian story?

K.C. Finn Hi Stefania,
Thank you so much for writing to me!
Stirling is one of my favourites too ;) I think the most difficult (and most important) feature in dystopian writing is giving your central character a strong network of allies and enemies. The dystopian genre is usually about a band of characters acting together to overthrow the force which oppresses them, so it was important to me to give Raja strong, likable friends whom the reader could relate to. She's a tough heroine, but she can't take on the world alone! Stirling is a good grounding force for her because they are opposite in a lot of ways, and he makes her stop and think before just rushing into the mission. It's tricky to keep everything in balance! Thank you for your excellent question.
If you haven't done so already, please consider leaving an Amazon review for Legion Lost. Good reviews are the greatest gift you can give to an author!
Lots of love,
K.C.
