What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Irene Onorato Read everything you can on the subject of writing. Learn about POV (point of view), showing VS telling, conflict, etc. Buy the most recent copy of The Chicago Manual of Style or subscribe to them online. If you have any doubts about how to use ellipses, em dashes, or questions on what goes inside quotation marks VS what should be written in italics, you'll find the answers in there.

Most of all, just WRITE. Get your thoughts on paper and keep on plugging away.
