Connor Pritchard Fall in love with the creative process by committing to projects and finishing them. Start with simple ideas about worlds and themes you understand. Don't seek perfection or validation. Don't be afraid of failure. Those fears will ruin your relationship with your creativity. For a long time, everything you write will be really bad or just okay. Don't give up. Surround yourself with supportive friends and find good mentors. You might find an audience and you might not. Either way, seek out projects that challenge you to grow. Writing is also a form of therapy, a way to process the world around you. Keep going and read more books.
