Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Misty Nickels The idea for my most recent book began when I wanted to write a paranormal romance and base the characters personalities on people that I know or have known in my life. I originally started writing as fan fiction, but the book turned into something completely different than anything I had ever read or watched before. I am happy with where the book went, and I am glad that it did not turn into fan fiction. No offense to any fan fic writers!
