THE HUNGER GAMES was definitely an inspiration for FIRE & FLOOD, but a minor one. What served as a much bigger inspiration was a popular book I won't reveal (and that no one has ever guessed). I was disappointed while reading this certain book because events weren't unfolding the way I wanted, so I decided, "I'm going to rewrite this story the way I see it in my head." FIRE & FLOOD was born from that experience much, much more so than THE HUNGER GAMES. But...THG is an epic book that I love to my core!!

Hello Victoria!I am right now in high school and i love your series so much.I heard that u wrote a third book.Even if it cant be published can u plz plz give me a digital copy of it?It would mean so much to me!I just finished reading salt and stone and i really really wish there would be a third book.Sorry if I'm asking too much but the series feel a bit incomplete.Ur a amazing author,thank you for your inspiration!
