How do you get inspired to write?

Nathan M. Hurst Inspiration comes from everywhere. From walking down the street to watching world events reported via various news and media channels, not forgetting books. I read a lot. Writing Sci-Fi is an extrapolation of those events or ideas. I also draw from life experience, having had many years working within computing as well as some level of flying training when I was younger, among other youthful adventures. All these things fuse together and spark to create the situations and ideas for my writing.
