I can be sitting on a bus next to a stranger and before long, they'll just start telling me their story.
Story is power. When you share your story with another human being, you are both giving and gaining perspective. Seeing the world through multiple points of view can make some of the hardest times easier.
I listen. When I see a thread that runs between many different stories, I look for ways to weave it into the stories I write.
