Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Marlene K. Slade My stories just pop into my head at odd times. All it took for The Illusive Lord of the Sea was for me to lay my eyes on a guy in a gay club that I was partying at with friends. He was standing at the bar waiting for his drink. The instant I saw him my mind started working on a story. The guy and I exchanged smiles. He got his drink and his momentary presence gave me the first character the story would revolve around-Captain Freeman Legend.
