How do you get inspired to write?

Amanda June Hagarty I loved to read when I was younger. I would read so much that I would get in trouble. I was banned from the school library once. And another time I got detention because I marked every answer on a test as "C" so that I could use the remaining test time as a free reading period. At night, my mom would make me put down my book and go to sleep, and since I couldn't keep reading, I would continue the story in my head. When I realized I could make my own stories, it totally blew my mind. I have been writing ever since.
