Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Eric Walker Williams I was asleep in my room one night when three aliens teleported themselves to the foot of my bed. They appeared to be debating whether or not to take me back to their mother-ship when one reached out with a glowing finger and touched my forehead. Before I could speak, they were gone. When I woke up the next day, I had this fantastic idea for a story set at a lake cottage filled with nosy opossums, pesky raccoons and really strange neighbors. And while I do have some strange neighbors, I know zero opossums or raccoons, and have never vacationed at a real lake cottage.
