How do you get inspired to write?

Cheryl Zach Feed the well! Read a lot . See theater, movies, visit museums. Go on long walks. Do something different. Recently I & friends did an 'Escape ' game where you go into a room where clues are set up for your group to find & decipher until after numerous false starts you may, in the time limit, solve the mystery and escape the 'locked' room. We made it with about a minute to spare- great feeling of accomplishment! 😅
PS It was seeing Beauty and the Beast on Broadway years ago that inspired me to write, with my daughter as Nicole Byrd, Beauty in Black. There's something special about live theater!
