I get blocked when I'm trying to craft the 'perfect' scene. I remind myself that there is no such thing as perfect, art is subjective. But when I'm really stuck, I just start outlining and jotting notes of what I want to happen.
I find that within a page of notes, I'm back into writing the story again. It takes persistence and patience.
