How do you get inspired to write?

Phyllis A. Still While sipping my morning coffee, I'll read through my current scene and hear sentences that should be corrected or character reactions that should be added. I'm a task oriented person with a touch of OCD, so it's hard for me to skip over things to get to the next chapter. This system might be slow, but I find it enjoyable. When I have lulls in creativity, reading writing craft books help give fresh direction.
