Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Andre Gonzalez The idea for Followed Home actually was a dream I had. Obviously, the dream wasn't as long or detailed as the book, but the main plot of these gray men with some sort of super powers taking over my hometown happened. And my grandmother really did hunt these beings and pulled out all kinds of guns and gadgets to fend them off. There is also a scene that took place in my middle school at the time that you will read in the book (the most graphic part of the book, in my opinion!).

I started writing it back then when I was 12...put it away for many years and recently decided to move forward and finish it, which included doing a whole rewrite and editing, and further plot and character development, allowing the story to take on a life of its own and build on from the dream I had.
