How do you deal with writer’s block?

D.H. Jonathan My debut novel The "Volunteer" was actually the result of writer's block. I was stuck in a place in what I considered my "serious" novel and started writing The "Volunteer" just to amuse myself. I posted it a chapter at a time on the web, and it developed a following which encouraged me to finish it. And when I did finish it, I was surprised to find that I had developed very strong feelings about the novel.

I'm still struggling with that "serious" novel...
