My inspiration seems to come in waves. Sometimes I will wake from a dream and write down what I found there. Other times I will simply be doing research for a story and run across a line or glimpse of something that will awaken my curiosity. Most often I will find inspiration from my own life that can be painted a slightly different hue for my poetry or story.
