How do you get inspired to write?

Karen Hunt I have never been able to figure out what really inspires me, or what drives me to create. Certainly, I am inspired by my own life experiences. I am inspired by history and superheroes and vampire stories that I read as a child. The Narnia Chronicles, which I read at age ten, was a huge influence in my life. It made me want to create worlds that people could get lost in, just as I had been lost inside Narnia.
