For those familiar with the series I'm about to name, you're going to "get it" right away...
I'm a HUGE Assassin's Creed fan. Like, "...ok, coworkers, I'll be taking off the following days b/c the new game comes out and I have to play the whole thing so...KTHXBAI" fan. I made a costume (poorly) and everything. The AC franchise nailed a perfect blend of fantasy and history, and a KILLER (literally) dash of butt-kicking. I am one of the most passive people you will ever meet, but if you happen to overhear me playing AC, you'll hear me cackling like a madwoman as I stealth-assassinate people.
Keeper was born from my daydreaming about Assassin's Creed-like characters set in my fantasy world of Aren. I'm a huge nerd for character development, and Ilyas's and Amalia's story began to fall into place only once I had them fully fleshed out as individual people. It became a game of "let's see how these two will react when I put them in THIS situation!"
