How do you get inspired to write?

Stacey Cotter Inspiration is a funny thing as it can come to you randomly. Whether someone makes a comment, or you are driving hours on end alone, a thought can spark your imagination. This happens to me regularly. I'll see a stranger and begin to contemplate who they are and where they came from. I'll drive by a property or business and begin to think about the lives of those that work inside. Inspiration for me comes from seeing new things or hearing something that I had not before. Tie your inspiration in with life, desires, fantasy or past experience and boom, you most definitely have a topic that you can write about.
