Goodreads asked Rik Stone:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Rik Stone To date, it isn’t a thing I’ve suffered from. However, there are occasions where I don’t write because, while the notions are there, my mind is too busy sorting out the order of things. If those ideas refuse to fall into line after a couple days I usually abandon the project and start outlining something else. Up to now, I’ve found that when I return to the main task everything has automatically fallen into place. I like to think of it as magic, but, unfortunately, it is merely my mind working in background mode. Hmm, maybe that is writer’s block and my imaginary friends have stopped talking to me for a while.
