How do you get inspired to write?

Anne Bennett I didn't get inspired by anything. I always wanted to be a writer and have written since I was a child, but working full time (as a teacher) caring for 4 children and running a house gave me too little time to write a novel, but I used to write short stories and then books for children. An incident at school in 1990 damaged my spine and left me unable to walk. I was invalided out of teaching and I suddenly had oceans of time and began to write in earnest and Headline Publishing accepted the first book I sent them which was called, 'A Little Learning'.
