Do you do your own editing or you hired someone professional?

A bit of both. I spend a lot of time learning editing as well as cover design. When I finish a draft, I leave it for a while and go over it again with a more open mind a few weeks later (sometimes months). Then, I try to involve an editor to help me find plot holes and issues with the story and wording.
The rest is reshaping, editing again, and proofreading.
