I'm afraid I can't recommend any local writing groups, as my critique partners are out-of-state (we do nearly all our critique via gchat and email) and I'm unfamiliar with the local writing groups, but I can direct you to the critique partner group that I have set up online.

It uses the same method I used years ago to find my first critique partners, and aims to help you find writers who love to read the kinds of books you want to write. Happy hunting:
