About Oregon, sounds like you know my beautiful state - have you been here? And, yes, the wild places here are a great source of inspiration. I frequently take my computer and head off to the Oregon coast or the mountains to write (it's deeply immersive). As for a favorite book - there are so many, it's impossible to choose, but Marilynne Robinson's 'Housekeeping' is one I find I read again and again. How about you - is there one book that stands out for you?
