What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

E.M. Kelly Listen to other writers. If they're willing to tell you something, it's worth listening. Observe a lot. Watch people and how they act. Find the little nuances, those are the gems of your character. Make your characters real to life. Make the reader feel like they can relate to the character. I love that bond between the writer and myself when I can relate to the character. I start to see myself as the character. That's a great story!
