What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Sekina Mayu You need to ask yourself what do you hope to achieve from your writing. It's fine if you write because it's a creative outlet for you and you don't care whether people love your writings or buy your books.

But if you want to make a living from your books, then you have to think of it like a business. It doesn't matter whether you want to get a book deal or self-publish your book. You have to approach every single thing from a business perspective.

It doesn't matter whether you want to make a living from your writings or not. People will only rave your books if your books are excellent. So do as much as you can to make the books that you're proud of.
