Goodreads asked Igor Labzin:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Igor Labzin I deal with writer's block by avoiding it. By that I mean that when ideas that are ripe for writing down are not there, then I do not force myself to write just for the sake of it. It means that moments arrive when I just want to sit down and write something. This something usually consists of strongly held views, feelings or sudden recollections. They usually fall into some kind of a pattern because sub-consciously you are thinking of the end product, "The Story". In other words; do not force yourself to write, just make sure that when you are in the mood then don't put it off. Once there are enough "scraps" written down then they all start to build up momentum into a book.
