How do you deal with writer’s block?

N.J. Donner I have found that I am a chapter by chapter writer. I often skip to another chapter that I have in mind, and let the spot that held me up sit for a while. Often times, the block works itself out by ideas coming to bridge the gap the next chapters. In fact, the first chapters of The Blue Moon Narthex were written after much of the story was already complete.
