Goodreads asked Tony Robinson:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Tony Robinson I must admit to not having a cure. Mine is not so much a lack of ideas - I'm teeming with ideas, especially dialogue, but it is the keying the words in that is my block. I even have Dragon dictate to use as a last resort so that I get the words into the computer somehow. It's as though there's a force stopping me from writing.

Up to now dark chocolate and red wine has worked best to weaken my resistance and get me going again. I love polishing sentences but I think I'm my own worst critic which stops me writing - or is it laziness.

Anyway, I always do overcome it and I'm very proud of 'Freedom from Bosses Forever' as I've worked hard to improve it three times and readers do seem to love it.
