What’s your advice for aspiring writers?

Patrick Harris Never give up; always pursue your dream. Whenever you have the opportunity, write like you're the only one reading your story. When someone else finally reads it, take the criticism with a grain of salt. Accept the critiques that aid your story, forget the ones that are staying have no positive impact on your craft, abilities, or story. Most of all, don't forget: you can do it!
