Goodreads asked Raymond Gaynor:

Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Raymond Gaynor It was during a convivial telephone conversation with master thriller author, A. G. Hayes, that the plot for QUANTUM DEATH (Savant 2016) evolved, including the deepening of the relationship between protagonists Koski and Falk. Having previous read and discussed together a manuscript by Hayes that was still in pre-publication at the time, but recently released -- namely FINDING KATE (Savant 2016) -- it seemed like she what calling out to the two of us to be included in QUANTUM DEATH and so she was. I borrowed heavily from my own interests in world politics, global financing, quantum physics and my previous military service in constructing the first draft. The work progressed quickly from there.
