Mark Warner
Mark Warner asked Rin Chupeco:

Hi Rin...! I love the way you write...so, I was wondering...I've always believed it's easier to come up with a good idea for a story, follow it up with a pretty good build up in the middle...but to come up with a really great ending...that was really rare and difficult to do. Do you feel coming up with mind blowing conclusions are the hardest things when you write..?? Thank you...I can't wait for The Bone Witch.

Rin Chupeco I'm actually the opposite. Whenever I come up with a story, I usually know how it's going to end, or how I intend to resolve the book, almost as soon as I create my plot. I know how The Bone Witch is going to end when I started writing the first book, for example. I'm currently working on a draft of the first book of a longer series with an ensemble cast, and I already know how things for that ensemble cast is going to end. I'm not sure how I do this, but thinking of endings are not as difficult for me.

It's actually the middle I have the most trouble with: figuring out how to get from point A to point Z and making sure things stay logical and believable during that journey. That's always been the biggest puzzle for me when I write, and also causes the most frustration.

Fortunately, I love puzzles. Even the frustrations that come with it. :)
