Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Angela Jeffs HOUSEHOLD STORIES/Katei Monogatari (from 2017) is a tour around the house we lived in for ten years in Japan. I offer a writing programme, Drawing on the Writer Within (www.angelajeffs.co.uk), and Level 4 asks students to begin an 8-week project (rather than completing weekly assignments). I began HH simply to set the pace... became totally involved, and completed it the following year. It then sat on ice during a move to Scotland after 3/11, and I resurrected it this summer last.
