How do you get inspired to write?

Jeff W. Horton That's a great question. I have to wait until I have time and I feel inspired before I can really hit my stride in writing. I try to fill in the gaps by working on the outline, fleshing out a character's profile, or working on the detail of the world I've created.

I suppose the best thing I can do to get inspired is to find some "quiet time" and just sit down and start typing; if the inspiration is there it's there.
