How do you get inspired to write?

Genie Clark When I started actually putting my stories on paper, I never intended for anyone else in the world to see them. Writing them down was just a way to pass the time and I soon discovered that it was a lot of fun. Eventually, when I had enough written, I shared with my husband and he was not scandalized with the "strange" workings of my mind as I supposed everyone would be. In fact, he enjoyed the story, so I was "inspired" to continue.
