There are three things I would tell aspiring writers. First, not everyone is going to like your work, and that’s okay. Write what is interesting to you. Second, don’t keep just rewriting the first chapter—write out the whole story, then go back and make changes. Third, keep writing! Don’t stop if your first work doesn’t top the bestseller’s list.
