How do you get inspired to write?

Thelma Gilbert My inspiration for writing comes from God. He inspires me through many vehicles such as a thought, an event, past experiences, visions, nature, conversations, inspirational messages, songs and hymns, family, friends, and many other ways. I have discovered when it comes to writing; it is a good thing to have a listening ear and a watchful eye. What the ear hears and the eyes see speaks volumes of thoughts, feelings, and ideas.
