Hi Liane, love your books. Having read Big Little Lies and heard about the upcoming HBO series, I was wondering how involved you are in the production of the series. So much of what I love about your writing is the internal dialogue -- the thoughts and observations of the characters; has there been any discussion on how to bring that aspect to the TV screen? Thank you, Brian. I wasn't involved with the script for the HBO series. It was written by the wonderful David E.Kelley. It's quite different from the book but I still love it. It's an incredible cast, and I think good actors can often portray that inner dialogue with their actions and facial expressions.

Well HELLO! I just want to know how you feel about the casting choices for HBO's adaptation of Big Little Lies. Do you like them? You PERSONALLY, of course. Love the trailer so far. Saw it when I was on the toilet, no better place to see it, kinda fit the mood if you ask me, but that's not the point, onward. Love your books. Love your writing. Keep it up, Miss Moriarty. My book club discussed "The Husband's Secret" and it was a very interesting talk. We wondered: did you intend the epilogue to be taken literally? OR - was it more of a "this COULD have happened" type thing. There were some parts of it that seemed a bit TOO perfect (like Polly becoming a tennis star if it weren't for her missing arm), and some of us wondered if it was a fantasy of a possible, but not real, future.
