Actually, my inspiration for Succubus mostly came from Jim Butcher's The Dresden Files. I remember feeling this desire to write a story immediately after I had read all of the current Dresden Files books. Of course, I did have some other inspiration. The Nasuverse of the Fate/Stay Night and Tsukihime series are what gave me my inspiration for vampires, though I only took bits and pieces.
