Hi Juliet, May I ask how you pronounce your last name? I'm active in the Booktube community, and haven't heard a consensus over there from the people I follow who have read and talked about your books. Is it pronounced like "Miller" with extra sounds in the middle, or like "du Maurier" with the silent "r" ending? Or something else? I want to make sure I'm getting it right!

Marillier is a French surname, and the correct French pronunciation is something line MAH-ree-yay. However, my ex-husband's family has not lived in France or spoken French for many generations and they pronounce the name ma-RILL-ee-er. That's the pronunciation I use - much easier for most people here in Australia.
