Dianne Bright My advice is to connect with readers who enjoy reading books that are similar to the one you're writing. Start interacting about the books you're both already reading. Then, add in, "Hey, my book's kind of similar. Would you mind writing a review for a free reader copy?"

Also, if you're able to join a writing group, often times other authors will write reviews for you in exchange for an upcoming review of their book. I recently joined an online writing group through James Patterson's Master Class, and I have five reviewers lined up for my book coming out next week: SOUL JUMPER. I just posted a cover pic and asked who might want to write a review. It was easy and quick.
